Welcome to the Spring 2025 session of the After School Enrichment Program.

Registration will be open from January 24, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. to February 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.

Important: You do not need an account to register for a class.

Mission

Our PTA sponsors after-school enrichment classes to meet our students’ needs for in-depth exploration of subjects, ideas, and activities not covered within the regular school day. We’re proud to work with the instructors, school staff, volunteers, and students to provide exemplary after-school learning opportunities in a safe, well-supported environment.

How this works

Find your classes in the Course Catalog, and then Register for them. You can register for multiple classes at a time, but only one child at a time. On the Registration page, you filter the classes by Day and Grade.

You’ll receive an email once you have registered. Save that email – it will have a link to your personal page that always has your latest registration status, class dates, and other helpful reminders

Policies

Financial Aid
If you are in need of Financial Aid, please contact Sam.Woodard@lcps.org the Arcola Elementary School Parent Liaison. She will contact you to discuss eligibility and availability of options. Financial Aid is not guaranteed. The PTA is able to offered a limited number of families this option.
 

Transportation:

Parents/guardians are required to provide transportation home from the school. Please pick up promptly at 3:15pm. If your student is already enrolled in CASA, they will be released to CASA unless other transportation is indicated.

Late Pick Up:

A parent or guardian 18+ in age is required to provide transportation home. Only one warning will be issued for a late pickup. A second warning may result in being dropped from the program without a refund. An emergency contact will be called if your child is not picked up by 3:25pm, and your child must be retrieved immediately. Please contact the front office and your child’s instructor to notify us if you are running late.

Refunds:

The registration fee is non-refundable. Refunds or make-up classes will not be issued due to student absences for illness or other family reasons. After School Enrichment may be canceled if LCPS closes school campuses due to weather or other factors. If an instructor or the school cancels a class, an effort will be made to schedule a make-up class. If there are two or more classes canceled by the instructor or school and they cannot be rescheduled, then a partial refund will be issued for those classes. The partial refund will be for the 1/8 of the tuition paid per class canceled.

Special Education:

A student with a current Virginia IEP may contact steven.charlish@lcps.org to determine their eligibility for after school program support. Students with an IEP who need an assistance or an aid must contact the PTA or Steve Charlish prior to enrollment to ensure an aid can be available for their student’s disability. Reasonable accommodations will be made for students by instructors. These requests must be provided in writing to the instructor in advance of the class start date.
